I don’t give a fuck if it’s hot or not, it’s from the heart…

So I must say, the infatuation with Kanye is at an all time high. I've been a huge fan since "College Dropout." It's crazy because I was totally against anything on the radio at that point in my life, and I was all about listening to bands that no one really knew about at that point; Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, etc. But there was something from the start that drew me Kanye, it's probably because no MC in the game at that point was opening himself up to the world the way Yeezy was. Maybe it's because he never tried front like he was a gangsta, therefore it was much easier for me to identify with him. Whatever the reason, from the moment I heard "Through the Wire" I had nothing but love and admiration for the man.

Last night, I was lucky enough to attend a taping of the Jimmy Kimmel show and it was my first time seeing Kanye live, I couldn't have been more excited. Accompanied by a full African drum group, he ripped through "Love Lockdown" (Which he messed up on twice before finally getting it right for the cameras, that second verse is a doozy), "The Good Life, then ended the night with "Champion." He sounded amazing, the percussion added so much to his live performance, I definitely hope he takes them out on tour. If you missed the performance, here it is:

Only bummer of the night is we tried to go to the private listening party of "808s and Heartache" right after the taping, but unfortunately we didn't have the credentials. As we were walking away trying to sweet talk security, Jonah Hill just walked on in. One day, Justin, one day...

As if my Kanye high couldn't get anymore stronger, he had to drop the unmastered version of his new single, "Heartless." If you want to give it a listen then CLICK HERE FOR HIS BLOG (WARNING: that link is not safe for work for there are pictures of the listening party with nude models).

I know a lot of people are going to hate on the direction he is going with this album. I believe that just makes me like it more, I love when artists aren't afraid to take that risk and try something different. It gives them the right to be called "Artists" and not just rappers or singers. If you haven't heard, supposedly the whole album is going to be in auto-tune (i.e., T-Pain), which I'm sure means a lot more singing from Kanye, which a lot of people aren't huge fans of. Last but not least, I believe the craziest information that has been divulged in the past couple of days is that Kanye is planning to release another album in June of next year! Holy shit, the man does not stop! You either love him or hate him, there's no middle ground with Kanye, and I'm sure he really wouldn't have it any other way.

Goodbye my friends, will I ever love again?
-Juicy Justin.
