Unplugged.

Back in the day, when MTV actually played music videos and concerts, they had a show I used to really enjoy called "Unplugged." It was a concert series played entirely acoustically. Artists from Nirvana and Lauryn Hill to even Dashboard Confessional all have had unplugged specials. Personally, I loved this show because as Brand New so eloquently puts it I'm a "sucker for anything acoustic." Sadly, MTV decided to cancel this programming in order to replace it with both bull and horse shit. However, the show has resurrected itself on MTV.com. The latest edition stars hit machine; B.O.B. and has feature performances by Robin Thicke, Melanie Fiona, and Janelle Monae. This concert proves to me that all hype that has surrounded B.O.B. this year is completely justified and I'm really excited to see what he comes out with in the future. Check out his album "The Adventures of Bobby Ray" because it's definitely worth a listen!

Juicy Justin's Daily Song: Vampire Weekend "White Sky (Acoustic on Unplugged)"
Since B.O.B. sampled "The Kids Don't Stand a Chance" in his song "The Kids" I felt it was only fair to give some props to Vampire Weekend. One of my favorite bands to listen to in the last 2 years because of their funky brand of indie rock. This song "White Sky" is definitely one of my favorite tracks from their latest album Contra.
